Sunday, January 21, 2007 - Dark purple color with lighter rim. Slightly closed on opening but boquet revealed itself over time. Dark cherry, plum, smoke and spice on the palate, ending with almost a 45 sec. finish of cherry and spice. Definitely some tannins involved, but nicely balanced. Very enjoyable.
