Sunday, March 31, 2013 - I agree with other reviews that the wine is young. Initially tasted without food and found the tannins to be mellow and the palate to be heavy on the earth. Decanted and sipped with steak dinner and found the wine to be very pleasant.
The wine looks Crimson colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Blackberry, Black currant (cassis), Forest floor, Mushroom, Game, and Burnt Match.
