Thursday, July 2, 2015 - big nose and brooding dark wild berry; some vanilla and oak that is secondary to the very big fruit; good acidity, balance and structure; still opening up by the time the bottle was gone. Really good, though i would not have guessed sangiovese; more california style big red, though admittedly in a good way.
