Tuesday, March 10, 2015 - It has been a long time since I drank one of these wines and to be honest I had kind of forgot what all the fuss was about. This bottle reminded me. Stunning wine.

Cork came out in two parts, but the wine was in great shape still. Slight bricking on the edges of the glass fading into a darker red. Nose of tobacco, wood, spice and pencil lead. The palate is smooth with a haunting finish. This is my last bottle of this wine, but it still has another 5 years left in it with a better cork.
