Tuesday, April 7, 2015 - Notes from night 3 - way too young on night 1 even with a 3 hour decant (served with grilled lamb chops). Clear meniscus with some color change to medium red center. Tar, menthol, black cherry, red currants on nose. On palate, black cherry, sour cherry, earthy with high acidity & medium+ body (might have guessed Barolo if tasted blind). Nice long finish. Lots of potential but wait a few years as Wine-Strategies recommended in note below. 92+ (should improve a few points with age).
