Sunday, October 26, 2014 - Dense and dark, lots of sediment. Leather, black pepper, grilled meat on the nose. Palate adds blackberry, black plums. An assertive, cold weather, serious syrah, with solid tannins, no silly OTT fruit. Fantastic pairing with a mustard-grilled pork tenderloin. Still a bit tight, as good or better in a couple of years.
