Friday, April 19, 2013 - Pleasantly surprised. There is a lot of fruit and some nice round tannins which make this really enjoyable. Cranberry, cassis, and sour cherry dominate the palate and the finish is a solid 20 seconds. If there is a criticism it would be that the nose is slightly alcoholic, but that may be because I didn't decant. I look forward to trying the next bottle in a year and i will gladly stay on the mailing list for future vintages.
