Thursday, March 19, 2015 - Dense but not fully open nose of spicy red fruit, meaty notes and mineral. Robust but not overpowering palate with notes of cracked pepper, white pepper, garrigue, dried berry fruit, cooked plum, ripe raspberries, dry stone and some dark floral notes. The finish is a battle between the acidity and the high alcohol (15.5) from the big Grenache styled vintage.
