This secondary character also carries to the palate, with dark fruit, cassis and sense of mint being the highlights. Full bodied without being overpowering. The harshness present on the finish several years ago is largely gone. If a few remaining rough edges round out before the fruit starts to fade, this could be better in a year or two and in fact could last much longer.
