Wednesday, January 9, 2013 - 2001 is proving to be a very fine vintage. See, jerwin1943 and others for their takes on this wine. It has shown very well and gave much satisfaction. Everything is well integrated leading to a nice finish. Black & red fruits big in the mid palate. At peak, so enjoy and/or share the good news w/friends and family. After 1 hr. there's a nice note of Dickensen Black Raspberry jam, along with it's spicy characteristics, both in the nose and the mid palate.
