Friday, May 27, 2016 - Gordon's 60th Birthday Fine-Wine Dinner for Robyn and Gordon (Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand): Opulent, caramel. but also savoury. Rich and mouth filling but also beautifully defined. The oak is completely integrated into the fruit, and while present, offers an almost flamboyant aspect to this serious wine. Excellent.
