Sunday, May 12, 2013 - Decanted for ~5-6 hours before drinking. Even with that this wine was clearly too young. Nose was very tight and more alcoholic than inviting at this stage. On the tongue it was bright ripe red cherries, a bit of softness, and then a tannic finish that belies more years ahead. Will be holding the rest of ours for at least five more years. Expect this score will increase with that time as well, but right now ~92.
