Saturday, October 27, 2012 - This is just excellent QPR. Dark purple color with a nose of dark berries, smoke and tobacco. This medium-bodied wine has a texture that is gripping and firm with flavors of black cherry, cigar box, pencil shavings and cedar. It has a masculine character, but very approachable and delightful as it is balanced by a lively acidity and a fresh. gripping finish. Excellent with Paella, Callos, and other rich Spanish food. Quite far from the 2005 vintage, which I scored 87 Pts. Drink from 2010 to 2020.
