90 Points

Tuesday, March 18, 2014 - This was interesting. Upon opening, the nose seemed off - almost funky in a chemical, not barnyard way. After a few moments the classic Pinot nose came through. The first taste seemed a little rough, but it improved greatly over the next 30 minutes. The wine has character and some depth. At the WTSO price of $14, it's an absolute steal! I live in the Willamette Valley and drink a LOT of Pinot - often the really good stuff. I'd rather have the terroir character than perfect balance. I like it!
