Friday, June 1, 2012 - This shows quite a bit of unintegrated oak when first opened, but as it develops some beautifully detailed tart red fruit emerges, and some minerality starts to show beneath the wood. The palate is still quite young and beautifully tart, with a great showing from the fruit. Very precise. Still, the wood is still very present. On day two, this was literally brimming with minerality, with some fruit in the foreground and the wood receding a little bit.

Once the wood integrates, this will be a stunning wine. I would give this plenty of time, this bottle was a bit of an infanticide.
