Saturday, June 20, 2015 - Massive Cali cab, showing typical oakville character. Purple as purple can be in color, almost artificial in nature. Nose was pure berry compote and berry jam, very straight forward and satisfying, yet not terribly complex and not showing much secondary element. Palate continued along the same vein, with lush berry, very ripe, blackberry pie, some coco and oak. Very fruit forward and extracted. Easy drinking. Lacking any real unique flavors. Manufactured for early and easy drinking.
