Wednesday, November 5, 2014 - Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2011 (St. Gallen): Classic nose, ethereal, red fruit and very floral. Subtle, impalpable.
On the palate light-footed and immediately a perfect poise, delicious. Then
the progression starts, it gains in intensity and tannic grip, but never losing
balance and elegance. Finish towards cranberries, even a touch of chinotto.
And mineral. And very, very long.
