Monday, December 15, 2014 - 2011 DRC Tasting (Paris, France): Subtle, but pronounced nose of wet stone, chalk, some spice and stems along with fresh red fruit. Lighter in color. Tight red fruit on the palate that starts with a pop of red fruit and spice then fades quickly. Not much depth, but the spice and grip are charming. Some black fruit as well. Somewhat tannic finish that is medium at best.
