Sunday, February 5, 2012 - shared with pat at selkirk manor. i love this wine. it has far outlived even the expectations of the proprietor. it still drinks beautifully. no decline since last tasted in 2010. very bordeaux like. it serves well to remember the enjoyment to be had when tasting a classically styled wine that is intended to be soft but luscious. as per previous notes, i particularly enjoy a wine that offers vinosity. (my definition-evidence that the grapes were fermented). i will be hunting down more recent vintages now that these are all gone.
