3/4/2013 6:03:00 PM - I have high hopes for this wine, Matt. I bought 4 more bottles this past week. as the one I had late last year was dynamite, really turned my head. Thanks for the note.

3/5/2013 7:32:00 PM - Frank- thanks for commenting. I was impressed by the balance achieved in both of the Lucia wines that I tasted at WOP. When SLH Pinots achieve balance those big dark fruits really shine. Also at the same table was the 2010 Pisoni Estate, an impressive table to say the least!

3/6/2013 7:57:00 PM - Matt, I drank the 2010 Pisoni a few months ago, my note is in here with yours now, too. A friend very kindly picked one up, I think at Whole Foods, and brought it to dinner. It didn't really get any air and was not warm but wasn't as a cool a temp for the way I like to consume pinot so I didn't walk away from that experience with much. I have a three pack that I will sit on for a while and get one open probably end of this year to set a baseline. Still think the 2008 is really good but the stupid Parker score has made that wine obscene in price on the secondary market.
