Thursday, June 25, 2015 - Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Cellar Visit and Tasting (Vosne-Romanée): Served blind at the domaine. Clearly from a ripe vintage with lots of power and upside going forward. Most subtle hints of maturity, this wine will outlast everybody in the room today. Big, bold start, followed by elegant textural notes from middle to finish. Very long, engrossing finish. A monument to great wine. I thought it perhaps 1991 LaTache.
