Saturday, March 28, 2015 - PnD about 2 hrs before dinner. Light reddish brick in color. This was the first time evaluating the wine in direct sunlight and it was a lot lighter than previously though. Overall, very much like the first two bottles. Perfumey nose of bright cherries, gardenias, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, sour (but sweet) cherries dominate, with a really nice velvety texture and mild/no tannins. Super tasty and enjoyable.

Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Chianti Classico glass at 58F. This wine shows much better at 58-60F where its fresher and fruitier. Once it gets to 68-70F, the fruit takes a backseat and it becomes a little more hot. Its not overwhelming at that temp...its just better cooler.
