Sunday, April 7, 2013 - Clear, medium (-) gold in color, probably due to extended maceration on the skins. The nose is medium plus in intensity and complexity, with aromas of citrus, tropical fruit and stone. The nose is developing. The palate is dry but appears to have a touch of residual sugar. The palate is consistent with the nose, with medium plus acidity and minerality. The body is medium plus to full, with a medium plus finish, with a rich smooth texture that is well balanced by the minerality and acidity. This is a very food-friendly wine which is ready to drink now and for the next several years.
