Thursday, October 16, 2014 - Lots of red fruit on the nose, more of cherries and plum. A bit of wood with hints of sweet vanilla, cinnamon, licorice, and raisins. Definitely full-bodied, dark ruby to maroon on the rim. Well balanced acidity with distinct tartness, beautiful taste of olives. Mellow tannins and drinks very smooth. Drank it over three days and enjoyed it thoroughly.
