Friday, October 3, 2014 - My first Pattes Loup wine. Ripe, slightly fat apple with some tropical fruit hints. Starts lush, acidity and minerality come through middle to finish, but not necessarily the type of steely, oystershell minerality I expect from Chablis. Moderate length. Very good Chardonnay, particularly for Villages level, but the wine's typicity didn't come across clearly today.
