Thursday, March 27, 2014 - Dark ruby color. The nose is muted showing black currant, soil, and leather. The palate is more expressive with cherry, blackberry, licorice, plum, red raspberry, damp soil, graphite, and ink. It is somewhat oaky but with enough structure to hold together reasonably well. An enjoyable wine with an excellent QPR.
