Sunday, April 23, 2006 - Silky smooth, medium bodied, good color, voluptuous. Tannins nearly gone (this was better a few years ago) but still balanced fruit and acidity. A little earthy, but currant-like fruit predominates, with just a hint of tar. Opened two bottles. Cork in one almost done but wine still okay.
