Saturday, May 23, 2015 - This Grenache is still in its infancy and aging is needed. The cool climate of 2011 had a profound affect on the dark red fruits producing a wine that needs at couple more years in the bottle. Rich at the core with a youthful bitterness that I didn't like but it will evolve. On the palate is mid weight with herbs, graphite, soil and Kirsch and mediums tannins. I'll try again in 2017.
