Our notes on this wine were as follows: "Light, yellowish-green, pleasant nose, touch of oak, a bit of cream and vanilla, pedestrian and straight-forward. Sadly, we sipped after the Giaconda, which is a significantly better drop!" We think we did Leeuwin a disservice as Giaconda, for "oak-suckers", is magical...but exceedingly expensive :-(
