Friday, January 28, 2011 - Tasted at the C&B dinner with A de Villaine 27 Jan 2011.
According to ADV '95 vintage was cold and rainy till June with a heatwave in August, stress to the vines stopped maturation. Rain in September brought Botrytis but was saved by the sun just before picking. only Echezaux needed sorting.

Very Vibrant cherry, vanilla and chocolate nose, forward tannins. Savoury spice box, licorice in the mouth v masculine. Needs time lots more to go to, could become quite amazing. nearly Barbaresco Gaya like
