93 Points

Saturday, October 19, 2013 - From an excellent looking bottle with a bottom neck fill, this wine had a red/purple center and oranging rims. The medium+ intensity nose displayed cherries, plums, soil, and attractive Provencal herbs.

In the mouth, this wine was ripe and rich with light, rounded tannins and very good length. It was so well crafted, refined, and balanced one could have easily mistaken it for a Right Bank wine.

This wine was very impressive and even outperformed some bottles of Cask 23 I have had recently. Tasted many times with consistent notes. While it will easily last for many years, I doubt it will get better. Thus, enjoy!
