90 Points

Monday, June 1, 2015 - Vanilla and marzipan nose intertwined with apples, cherries and leather. Sour candy and slightly herbal notes. Palate is powerful and very good, but compared to the magnificient 2012 this one shows a bit too much of its vintage. Not green in any way, but there are some notes of magnolia and christmas spices that seems to be a mantra throughout this vintage in most burghs I've tasted. In this case it falls a bit through. Still an extremely good wine, though. I love this producer.
