Friday, May 3, 2013 - Outstanding pinot noir. Deep ruby, translucent. Raspberry-strawberry-black cherry, with some cinnamon, already complex. Very Burgundian. Medium to full-bodied for a pinot noir, but very well balanced, with fruit predominant over acid and tannin. Viscous and mouth-coating without being cloying or too heavy. Slightly hot, especially on the aftertaste, which goes on for a minute. One of the best pinots we've tasted, very drinkable now but may gain in complexity over next several years.
