Friday, May 22, 2015 - Enjoyed over a few days.
This 5 yr old white Burgundy has a med gold color.
The nose is inviting, with obvious vanilla oak notes, and plentiful, ripe orchard fruits.
The palate shows off a full bodied Chard with apple and pear fruit, some citrus in the upper register, vanilla and hazelnut, a hint of spice. Med acidity, med+ finish.
Nicely balanced and coming together, significantly moreso than my last bottle (1.5 yrs ago). Delicious now and through 2018+.
