Sunday, January 2, 2011 - NYE 2011. Nat cork, a light and faded red thats thin and clear but a bit dusky in the glass. A nose of beef bourgnon. Tasty wine that initially offers up notes of sasparilla or root beer, and a more medicinal thing, lively and almost zesty with cherry fruit that is subtle but still very much present. Really well balanced and drinking beautifully. Very much enjoyed.
