Monday, June 10, 2013 - Last second impulse PnP. To no surprise, this version of Papa’s is really tight and not showing a whole heck of a lot at present. Crushed blackberry skins competed against a pretty formidable tannic structure, sneaky acidity, and just a touch of new barrel. Yet, it had a very fine textural feel, good grip, and lingering Syrah qualities on the finish. Should age very well, really needs 3 to 5 +.
