Monday, November 17, 2008 - Popped the cork & let air out for about 3 hrs. Big red fruit smells with smoked meat and pepper. Big full mouth feel and very bright flavors which make it food friendly. went well with baby back ribs on the smoker. This is showing very well at 7 years of age. With more air a very strong red fruit aromatic -essence of raspberry syrup becomes dominant and the wine is even smoother and softer, quite nice
