Saturday, November 15, 2014 - Popped and poured, restaurant bottle. Very fruit forward with mostly black fruits on the nose. Medium bodied without too much glycerin and an impenetrable wall of tannins on the drying finish. Did not mellow out over the hour and a half of the meal, overwhelming both the fried chicken and the smoked pork chop.
