Friday, February 6, 2015 - Tasting in Châteauneuf-du-Pape; 2/5/2015-2/7/2015 (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhône, France): White pepper, spice, and dark fruit fill the nose. This is dark and dense, with good amounts of fruit (blackberry). Very well structured, still, with present, fine tannins and lots of acidity. Tight, but quite promising.
