Thursday, October 31, 2013 - Pale straw color with a watery rim. Bouquet is somewhat subdued, showing coconut, pineapple and orange peel. Palate is sweet but not overly rich, with caramel apple, honey and poached pear. There are hints of complexity and botrytris that are trying to peek through. Acidity is a little low, and the finish is medium, but overall everything is well balanced and drinking nicely now. Should continue to be nice over the next few years.
