Wednesday, April 8, 2015 - Northern Rhone tasting (London): In our northern rhone tasting, this was the most "burgundian" of the Hermitages, in the sense that it was relatively (ie, relative to the other wines, not in absolute terms) light, distinctly mineral, with well-integrated tannins, more on the nose than on fruit or power. Enjoyable already, it's somewhat reticent and will likely enter a better drinking window over the next 5 years.
