Well next evening ( tonight saturday ) its becoming a little more layd back and there revealing itself a bit more into cherry notes-herbal notes...but i also have to say that i think it´s praised higher than whats really in there.
Dont missunderstand me, because its good and the nose and palate blend really nice together....but otherwise i am not that convinced.
Although this is my first try with this grape variety, so please take that into account.

2/21/2015 10:34:00 AM - FDP. I'm not misunderstanding you at all. I share the same experience you had with these. I just don't get the acclaim and praise for these wines either. I guess it's not what I expect from an Italian wine. I still have single bottles the 09 and 10 in my cellar and I don't want to drink them. I would trade them for a couple bottles of CC from a good producer any day!!!

2/21/2015 10:45:00 AM - Hi djt1956, i am happy to see that i am not alone in my view on this wine, although i haven't tasted other vintages or older ones....but i think that even in Bordeaux for the same amount of money i would get a wine i like much more....
Although its also hard as there is no other references with this grape so hard to make any conclusions whether its the grape or the wine.
