Sunday, April 12, 2015 - Clear deep ruby color. Clean fig and raspberry aromas, mixing in a melange of secondary flowers, damp earth, dusty spice and tea- moderate in intensity and youthful in development. Opens with raspberry along with tangy apple skin and minerality. Shows silky layered secondary nutmeg & tea spice and dried lavender. As Frank mentions previously, it fleshes out with air, with fine & round silky tannins, and gripping acid and mineral notes with depth on the finish. The acid has integrated a bit since I first tasted this two years ago- more round and woven than linear. Showing well- I'd recommend a gentle decant and short term cellaring.
