Thursday, February 5, 2015 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of oak (vanilla, coconut), MLF (butter), green fruit (green apple, pear) and hints of citrus (lemon peel).

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has a medium(+) alcohol and medium(+) body. It has medium(+) intensity flavours of oak (vanilla, coconut), MLF (butter), green fruit (green apple, pear) and hints of citrus (lemon peel). The finish is medium(+).

It is a very good quality wine. It has a persistent finish and concentrated flavours that balance the alcohol. However it does not show the typicity of a Verdejo wine.

Can drink now, but it has enough flavour concentration and some acidic structure to be kept for 1-2 years more and develop a bit more of complexity.
