Friday, May 31, 2013 - I don't think I've had a Napa albariño before. But, as a fan of Bedrock, I was intrigued, and after drinking a bottle on a hot DC evening, I'm glad I tried it. Aromas of green apple, sweet peach, papaya and a hint of seashell. The palate is packed with zesty acid, but, as other commenters have noted, this wine isn't thin. The rich apple, pear and tangerine flavors are lush and creamy, but that acid keeps everything else in check. Long finish with a hint of herb. This is a solid summer wine, and is great with salad.
