Sunday, October 25, 2009 - garnet red. interesting evolution here. wine started out with a fantastic nose but was strangely dilute on the palate. It tasted nearly absent of anything, but somehow the wine opened up to a textbook display of St Estephe typicity. The wine stayed light on its feet and never got beyond medium bodied, but was delicious and well balanced, The tannins and acid seemed fresh and suggest this wine will be OK to drink for some time. The finsih was a bit short but otherwise good.
