Thursday, July 22, 2010 - Fills were into the neck, sound corks; popped and poured. Ruby-garnet core, with no browning at the rim. Aromas of weedy black currants, mineral, and leather. Medium bodied, lacking a bit in mouthfeel and flavor -- a bit too much structure for its own good. Good focus on the finish, but this is a somewhat austere wine.
