Monday, December 16, 2013 - Very deep ruby color - still with a touch of black core. Intensely mineral nose that is surrounded by dark berry fruit. A gutsy and masculine wine that calls out for a savory meat course on a cold evening. There is a warmth to the palate that is a nice buffer for the leafy finish. Solid wine that is drinking well.
