Sunday, September 23, 2007 - No peeking at my previous notes. Ruby red with some bricking. At first the nose was very promising- a little sweet, plummy, some tobacco- mature bordeaux. The body trailed off a bit and I hoped to get more out of this as the night wore on. Instead the nose dies and the palate died- soft, lacking any strong fruit or texture. At first there was a 92 point nose and an 88 point palate, at the end it was an 88 pt nose and an 84 point palate.
