Thursday, September 11, 2014 - Enchanting nose of blackberry, black raspberry, dark red brambly berries from the forest.... Medium to light intensity - perfumed. Hints of spice in the background.

On taste juicy and medium intense flavours of the brambly berries with perfect balance on the acidity. Long finish with a medium to light body but intense flavours. Here one appreciates the depth of flavours.

A great young wine that has fine tannins and delicate, but intense fruit notes. Just from the aromas you are in the world of Burgundy. Of course it is too young to drink, it will only get better. I have never had a red Lafon nor a Monthelie premier cru so I was just browsing on this, Great value if you consider the quality of the wine.
